Micronesia is blessed with many of the world's premiere diving destinations. Consider Palau, one of the seven underwater wonders of the world. Scuba Diving magazine recently placed it first in eight of 10 diving categories. Close behind are Pohnpei with its gardens of vibrant, healthy corals; Yap with its manta ray dives; and Chuuk, where for the last three decades divers have traveled from around the world to explore the sunken remnants of World War II.
Swimming, Waterskiing, etc.
If you prefer being on top of the water, Micronesia will not disappoint you. Most islands feature exquisite beaches with superb swimming and snorkeling. The resorts of Guam and Saipan offer a variety of watersport activities, including waterskiing, windsurfing and wave-kayaking. Of course, if you'd rather fly high above the water, try parasailing.
